Happy Earth Day!

Today is April 22 and it's Earth Day. To celebrate I am recommending that my blog readers subscribe to Mother Nature Network. If you love planet earth, you'll love the MNN publication. They are a constant and consistent reminder of the celebration of life on this wonderful planet that we take for granted. A life which, no matter what the space explorers and scientists or Nostradamus tell you, can be never duplicated by building a colony on Mars or Titan or anywhere else in the universe.

The reality is we need to make an earnest effort to maintain the Earth because it's all we've got!

Looking for a Successful Male? He's in the Details.

Had an opportunity to peruse the Special 15th Anniversary Edition of a magazine called “Details”.  There was a detailed article in the magazine paying tribute to successful males "whose influence has shaped every facet of our culture and defined the young millennium" (direct quote from the Table of Contents).

His name? Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper made the cover of the October 2015 anniversary issue as one of The Most Influential Cultural Figures of the New Millenium.

Mr. Cooper along with several other 21st century men deemed groundbreaking icons are profiled on pages 103 - 133.

Totally OK with all the leading men showcased in the portfolio with one exception.
  • Number 15: Edward Snowden.

Mr. Snowden is the whistle-blower who is being given credit for exposing the U.S. government's surveillance abuses, in the name of national security, truth, justice, and the American way ... blah blah yadda yadda.

Per the article writer, Bret Begun: "How history will judge him is anybody's guess."

No guess for me. Wrote out my judgment as to his actions, January 27, 2014, and posted it on Google Plus. Click here. He left the USA.  He is one leading man I will not be following.

Suffering Sappho! This 'Wonder Women' Fan Art Is Breaking The Internet (Reblog)

My kids are always raving and telling me about how cool fan art is and how it is the best compliment ever and shows appreciation and adoration.  Per Wikipedia:  "Fan art is artwork created by fans of a work of fiction and derived from a series character or other aspect of that work."

This fan art is so fantastic it has me speechless. All I can do is point you to the person who deserves all the credit!

"As the hit DCEU movie Wonder Woman was in its fourth day of breaking the US box office this past weekend, Atlanta-based illustrator Marcus Williams (Tuskegee Heirs) started breaking the internet — or Facebook and Twitter, at least — by posting a spine-tingling tribute to Wonder Woman and her largely forgotten fraternal twin sister, Nubia. ..."
